A caregiver is someone who provides medical, physical, or emotional support to a person who is
unable to take care of themselves due to illness or disability. Caregivers assist with activities of
daily living, such as bathing, dressing, medication management, and mobility.
On the other hand, a companion is someone who provides social and emotional support to a person,
especially those who are feeling lonely, isolated, or anxious. Companionship may include talking,
playing games, going for walks, and other leisure activities.
